Connections41 Code of Conduct
Connections41 is built around trust, privacy, respect, and genuine human connection. Our goal is to create a comfortable community where members can meet new friends, activity partners, companions, and potential romantic connections without pressure or unwanted behavior.
By becoming a member or attending a Connections41 event, you agree to follow these community standards.
Treat People With Respect
Be courteous and respectful to members, guests, Connections41 staff, venue employees, sponsors, and community partners.
Disagreements happen. Insults, threats, intimidation, aggressive behavior, bullying, or deliberately making another person uncomfortable are not acceptable.
Respect Personal Boundaries
A conversation, introduction, phone-number exchange, or first meeting does not create an obligation for continued contact.
If someone tells you they are not interested in additional communication, respect that decision.
Repeated unwanted calls, texts, messages, appearances, or other contact are not acceptable within the Connections41 community.
No Harassment or Unwanted Sexual Behavior
Sexual harassment, unwanted sexual comments, inappropriate touching, sexually aggressive behavior, threats, stalking, or repeated unwanted romantic attention are prohibited.
Florida law separately addresses stalking and repeated harassment; our community standards are intended to intervene well before behavior reaches that level.
Protect Member Privacy
Connections41 is a private community.
Do not publicly share another member’s phone number, email address, photographs, personal story, relationship information, or other private information without permission.
Information you learn through Connections41 should be treated respectfully and discreetly.
Be Honest
Members are expected to provide truthful information about themselves when joining and when participating in Connections41.
Do not impersonate someone else, intentionally misrepresent your identity, relationship status, age, intentions, or other important information used by Connections41 when making introductions.
Understand What Connections41 Provides
Connections41 creates opportunities for meaningful relationships to grow.
We cannot guarantee that an introduction will result in friendship, companionship, an activity partner, romance, or any other particular relationship.
Members are responsible for deciding whom they communicate with, spend time with, and meet outside Connections41 events.
Participate Responsibly
Follow the rules of every restaurant, activity provider, community, and venue hosting a Connections41 event.
Drink responsibly when alcohol is available, behave appropriately, and make your own safe transportation arrangements.
Respect Introductions
A Connections41 introduction means that we believe two people may enjoy meeting each other.
It is not a guarantee of compatibility.
Members should approach introductions with courtesy and an open mind while respecting everyone’s right to decline or discontinue a connection.
Help Protect the Community
If another member’s conduct makes you feel unsafe or seriously uncomfortable, please tell Connections41.
Reports will be taken seriously and reviewed as privately as reasonably possible.
Membership Is a Privilege
Connections41 may warn, suspend, remove, or decline to renew a member when we reasonably believe their behavior threatens the comfort, privacy, safety, or integrity of the community.
Serious misconduct may result in immediate removal.
Member Acknowledgment
Before joining Connections41, members will be asked to confirm:
- I have read and agree to follow the Connections41 Code of Conduct.
- I agree to respect other members’ privacy, boundaries, and decisions regarding continued contact.
- I understand that Connections41 creates opportunities for introductions and relationships but does not guarantee any particular match or outcome.
- I understand that inappropriate, threatening, harassing, dishonest, or repeatedly unwanted behavior may result in suspension or termination of my membership.
- I understand that once I choose to communicate or meet privately with another member outside a Connections41 event, I am responsible for making my own decisions regarding that relationship and my personal safety.
